Your birthday is coming up and we know you care about hungry kids and families. Here’s a great way to make a difference to celebrate your birthday. You can create your own fundraising challenge and let others in your social network know they can make a difference too with a donation in honour of your birthday.
Inspire your friends, family and co-workers to support the cause through your fundraising story. The better they connect with your story, the more likely they will be to make a donation. Be sure to not just tell them what the cause is, but why the cause is important to you.
Note: We have applied the whole of 2023/24 as the campaign timing, so that will appear on your page as well. But you can decide how long to run the campaign, and then end it on your birthday.
Just follow the prompts to create your own page name, and description. We have provided default text but you can say what you like. After all, it’s your birthday, and your desire for the cause that will inspire friends and family to donate. Once you’ve created your page you will see a unique sharing link on the Welcome tab of the dashboard. Copy and share in your social media networks, emails and texts. ONE FINAL NOTE: You will see that birthday campaigns are managed by our CanadaHelps donor platform. That means anyone who makes a donation for your birthday will receive an immediate tax receipt and thank you from Kids Against Hunger Canada.
